Hi, i have a 98 proflex beast with a noleen nr2. It has some issues, top out on rebound and no rebound adjustment. So i am looking for a rear shock adapter that someone to make for the conical end. To use a normal shock and what shock to use, 200mm i2i 50mm stroke? Air or coil (fox float or vanila rc?)
Thanks

pls take a look at my posts about the adapter I had made up for XP8 - the swing arm stay has a conical recess that the adapter locates in.

The NR-2 does have rebound adjustment. There's a knurled knob at the bottom of the shock. If yours doesn't have that, it must be an NR-1. If it does have that knob but it still has no rebound damping, then something bad has happened to the oil inside the shock.
Various people here have made shock adaptors before, but I don't think they are anything other than one-offs. Risse makes an adaptor specifically for their shocks, or you can get a Noleen NR-4 with compression and rebound damping from Noleen J6. I have an NR-4 on my 756 and it feels great.
