Title: Will E-type Shimano front derailleurs fit World Cup frames?

Like this one:

I'd like to be able to get a Top Swing derailleur if I can, and the mounting bracket that clamps to the BB shell is the only way I might be able to make one fit. Anyone tried it before?

I wish I could find a bike shop anywhere that has one in stock, so I could eyeball it against my frame. I've only ever seen one in person and it was on a Diamondback hardtail that could've just as easily used a normal derailleur. Kinda makes me wonder if Shimano actually sells any of them or just takes pictures of the prototypes and puts them on their website.
