I just bought a used Risse shock for my Crosslink. No directions included. I have an idea of how it should go but a photo of one installed would confirm it. Anyone have a photo that post? Thanks.

I know it's been asked a thousand times, but not by me, so here goes: how much extra travel do you get with that LTK?

I think its 6" total travel. Enough to have to cut the bottom off you seat tube to stop the shock hitting it.

You can just see the front in this picture. Ive got mine mounted upside down with air valve on top faceing forward(same as mootsguy). However the shock does hit the bottom link before it runs out of travel and flattens the grease port screw :-\. Cant seem to find a better way of fitting the shock though cos if you turn it around it hits the frame.

I did indeed have to remove 1" of the seat mast to allow for the extra shock travel. The travel turns out to be an extra 2 3/4" just on the bump stop. Makes a fine five inches of travel.

Sorry, no picture, but my Genesis for the Way Big Crosslink has the lower eyelet milled toward the front of the shock...in the most recent picture it looks like you might have that toward the back, yielding that interesting angle and perhaps causing the lower linkage arm to contact the shock's body. Have you tried turning it around (still keeping it right side up, as you have it, but rotating the bottom of the shock 180 degrees)?
Just wondering if that would help...

Yes I tried that but the shock then hits the frame when compressed. It may however just happen on carbon frames as they have that 10mm seam protruding out from the head tube in line with the shock?
