That's the same bike that I have. I don't know how to ID it other than it's an Attack.

It needs:

Elastomers
Which i have found a few options online like suspensionforkparts CaneCreek or McMasterCarr.

Rear derailleur
searching for good deals

Can I change forks on this bike?

Is there any way to refresh the sus pivot?

Thanks a ton!

Pivot Kit is listed as:

RK003   Attack Style Frame pivot                                       (fits '95 555,455 - '96 656 - '97 Reptile, Attack_

Hmm, can't seem to insert an image from my gallery, seems odd, I normally can.
link above:
http://idriders.com/proflex/coppermine/albums/userpics/10284/normal_RK003-Attack_Style_Pivot%
has an error message associated with it:
"Notice: Undefined offset: 8192 in /home/user/public_html/proflex/coppermine/include/debugger.inc.php on line 112 "

here's a link to my gallery
http://idriders.com/proflex/coppermine/displayimage.php?album=29&pos=5 (http://idriders.com/proflex/coppermine/displayimage.php?album=29&pos=5)

I've never used one of these and there were a few different models of Attack so treat with caution but seems likely to be the right part

Welcome Ice D,

You can certainly change the forks out.

Risse Racing makes a killer airshock for you bike if you deem it worthy($200).

I would try regreasing your pivots if they look workable. Otherwise Ebay has some listings for pivot kits.

Have Fun,
Terry

Thats a 96 Attack. Identicle to (at one point) mine. The one I was on a quest for a swing arm. You want to check for cracks in the welds behind the bottom bracket at the pivot on the drive side. I'm thinking this is common for the Attack and Attack LE. Theres one on Ebay right now listed with the same proublem

I forgot, also the pivot on my attack is completely different than my 656 of the same year. "96"

I ordered some parts ;D

Yellow squishies for the rear and bomber for the front. It should be suspended a little better in a week or so.

Now I need rear derailleur, tires, cables and brake pads and I should be good to ride.
