Title: What size are the rear brake studs on a 756?
Post by: fyrstormer on March 26, 2010, 07:14:57 am
I had the brake studs removed at the same time I got the disc tabs welded onto my 756's rear swingarm, and now I want to buy a cable guide to screw into the empty brake boss. What diameter and thread pitch do I need?

On my 856 it is M10 X 1.5.

Oh for crying out loud. I can find M10 x 1 and M10 x 1.25, but not M10 x 1.5.

Ah to hell with it. In a fight between the aluminum hose guides and the aluminum swingarm, my chrome-steel wrench will win.

I thought they were M10 x 1.25 :-/ I have an extra set or two of steel ones if you want 'em, as I replaced a bunch of mine with Ti...let me know and I'll pop 'em in the mail. I have M8 studs as well.

My bad, :-[ Doug is right. I was in a hurry when I checked mine, didn't use a thread gauge either, just scaled it.  Only ten thousandths difference!    Sorry
