:'( I was bidding on a K2 Razorback on ebay and I was top bidder.
But last night the internet went all night and I could not re bid.
The bike went for £464 what a steal.
Mind it would of cost 330 to ship it from Rhode island USA.
Plus vat.

330 to ship it?! :o

330 to ship it?! :o
Typo ? Shift 3 is £, so maybe £30 to ship it which sounds about right, but Proflexman, don't just add on the VAT, there's also a customs clearance charge that might be another £11 or so.
Moral of the story?
Bid the max that you actually want to pay, or use a sniping system to get that last high bid in!
Better luck next time.

Yes surley a type error as the two bikes I have bought from USA have both cost £30 -£35 + customs charge.
Better luck next time.

Honestly lads Fedex quoted me £330 in a bike box.
UPS wanted £590
I did go on a site that gets a quote from all the shippers and the cheapest was £320
Which company did you use that charged only £30
I was going to ask him to remove the wheels just to make the box lighter and the fact I didnt want rim brake wheel set.

Oh my god Im speechless ???
Im only talking maybe a year and a half to two years ago. My 856 frame came from California and cost £30. My 857 was a complete bike and only cost about £35. I cant remember where in USA it came from but Ive got the invoices in work so I'll check. They were both posted via the USPS which is the US version of our Royal Mail.
Prices surely cant of gone up that much?

yeh, there's a BIG difference between USPS and commercial shippers ( UPS,FEDEX etc) same as in the UK.
If poss, I always use USPS, who have alwyas been very reasonable.
