Go for it!
I would if it was in the UK!
I'd really like a "Disco"
I particularly like the upper shock mount plates that have more clearance as this allows potentially a wider choice of air shock for the rear.
People on here have said in the past that this style is a "Small" with the "Medium" and "Large" etc having normal pre-evo (e.g. 4000) style shock plates.

Even if this is a "Small", the seller says it has a measurement of 18" (457mm) Cranks to Seat Post , which lines up with the chart below, but it seems big enough for me.

Anybody know if that swingarm would fit on a 4000??
Currently looking for a new carbon rear...as the old one has some serious corrosion issues on the shock mount :o
Also is that a disc brkt or do they come disc ready??

I think so. I know that an alum swingarm will not fit on a carbon frame without major Simonizing. ;)
Would your carbon swingarm not be savable?

Yes it might fit on a 4000
The only issue between EVO's and 4000's is that some of them had the Needle Bearing pivot and some had the older Nylon(?) bushings.
RS4000's had the the bearings as well as some of the EVO's
RK012 kits for the needle bearings are rare as Hen's teeth, but then again you might be able to source the needle bearings easier........
If the Mount on your carbon swing-arm is corroded, you could replace it, just drill out the pop rivets and make a replacment, (or get a machine shop to make one for you.
The Evo's have an adaptor bracket to make them ISO compliant, Part number 5996.

Got a machine shop on standby. ;D Just trying to see if it might be cheaper to find a replacement over the cost of having a piece made ???
Im very local to a bearing company (TRENT VALLEY BEARINGS) so hopefully going to go that route anyway's. Been watchin the bearings topic with interest..
Thanks nelly.
