Title: Manitou Swinger
Post by: sverdina on September 09, 2009, 04:22:30 pm
Does a Manitou swinger 4-way SPV fit on a 5000?  I know that the 3-way fits with minor modification to the swingarm mount, just curious if the 4-way will fit without any further mods.  Also, would this shock fit on my bike?

The 4 way will fit with some grinding to the swingarm or spring cap.

But why not go with an air shock and mount upside down with no mods?

I think you'd still have to mod a 5000 to fit the 4-way. I did with my 3-way, which is basically the same thing without the extra cannister. Only difference is that my Swinger was the previous model, which might have a slightly thicker body.

Any idea what a fair price for the 4-way would be?
