How right you are. Here in California everything is selling slowly. However service is up as people are keeping thier old bikes. If the local bike shops survive here, it will be on service revenue. Just today as I was picking chainrings, talk of the rising stock market, warmer weather, and rising oil prices the service manager of my LBS is optomistic that sales will pick up soon.

So it is no surprise that Iron Horse is on the ropes. Hope not a total bust.

from what ive read iron horse is no more , gone, kaput., along with it probably all the remaining k2/proflex spares.

What then? do we all go and buy a specialized :'( :'(
i mean they are good bikes but no soul!!!,  for anyone who likes their bikes don't diss me i still listen to vinyl on a turntable !!! retro rules. ;D

What to do? We got to work together. I think we have enough talent here to get by.
