Hi,to all. yes Juan Pablo is back.
I havent written since 4 years ago. But i have read the forum several times. My first proflex was a 752 model that my parent bought me when I had 15 years. I broke the frame and I bought the new model 856. I had problems with the girvin damper. When I went to a Bike repair shop, mechanic told me that is imposible to fix my proflex. I didnt belive it. In this time. I know our forum, and try to solve the problems with my damper. With the help of many people of this forum, I machined a cone adapter to mount a new rockshox damper. The invent was perfect. I have the frame, and work correctly today. A few years later, I decided to buy a new frame. So I bough a 857 frame. Is very beatiful frame.
In this years I had to stop to ride because i need to Study, for make my career. So my 857 had in my garage during many time. Two years ago I saw the perfect frame for me, a proflex/k2 4500. So I bough this frame. I think that is the perfect proflex. Is the last proflex and the best.
Now I have 30, and all my experience in mountain bikes, go together with proflex. I dont think to change my old bike. Maybe improve. Today I am a pilot, i work a lot, but when I stop to work I ride with proflex 4500. When I ride on my 4500,I feel as I was a teenager when I was my 752 ( I have this frame in my garage). Change to other type of bikes(as a cannondale, specialized) is imposible to me, is a sentimental reason.
Proflex Forever!!!!!!!!! :) :) :) :) :) :)
Pd: Sorry for my english

welcome back - you're adapter has been copied many times :)

It is about time you returned ;D ;D
I feel the same about the 4500/Oz. Just a bit of bragging: mine has 10380 miles on it. Nice shot of the 4500 with the plane.
