Beer barrels block M11 after lorry crash

MOTORISTS faced several hours of delays and long tailbacks after a motorway was closed by hundreds of beer kegs holding 21,000 pints.
Up to 300 aluminium kegs were strewn across the M11 near Ugley, Essex, after a yellow HGV toppled on to its side at 5.15am today.
The barrels, each full of 72 pints of beer, were strewn across the southbound carriageway between junction 9, for the A11, and junction 8, for Stansted Airport.
Highways Agency officials closed the southbound carriageway between junction 10, at Duxford, and junction 8.
Can all available people please attend, to assist in clearing up this mess? Sorry, the brewery is not identified, but hey! It’s Beer!

you may laugh, but looking at the picture I reckon thats a Tradeteam ( a DHL company lorry) full of 9 gallon casks of Greene King products. Most probably IPA as they are giving it away in JDW for 99p a pint at the moment.
Once , in my younger years ( I am a brewer) I went round a roundabout, in a drop side flat bed lorry. Unbeknown to me one of the hitches wasn't done up, so as I went round the roundabout my van was doing a very good impression of a Lancaster bomber and dropping , every other second or so , a cask of ale across the road. The sight of fellow motorists swerving to avoid the barels was , in hindsight funny, some even stopped to help me reload the 'errant' casks back onto the van.

I don't believe him..........unless he can provide us with evidence (at least four pints of evidence....maybe some pork scratchins' on the side!) to the contrary... ;)
Let us know what types of beerage ye brew, and what part of the country ye sell to- I allus like to find new beer to try.

About to go bust unless we get some funding from a TV program they are filming at work at the moment. Its car crash tele , and I will be portrayed as a villan. OOS at this time, so more riding time for me.
