Title: Proflex 853 rear shock
Post by: BlakeC on February 13, 2003, 03:33:56 am
I have an 853 which I reallyt enjoy riding, but need to know where I can get a replacement rear MCU spring, as it gets too soft when I boil it.
Can anyone help?

:-/any bike shop can order the elastomers from K2. they still have some in stock. but they are only in 1 density. they have fronts and rears. not sure if they'll fit an 853. they have an 800 # that you can ask if they'll fit.

And from the links page:

http://REI.com

This is a general purpose outdoor store that also carries bikes, accesories, etc. The most notable feature here though, while not in their online catalog, is that they carry, usually in stock, elastomers for the older Proflex series bikes. They ship to your door, and last I heard you are best off calling the Seattle store and talking to Cory or Chad.

The part number for the hardest for an Attack LE (i.e. 160-200+ lbs) is 13943-2H.
