Title: proflex beats front mech help

Hi

i am building a beast  up i think its a 97 back/red paint girvin chubby forks can anyone help what type of front mech do i require, i know its a 31.8 but is it top bottom pull etc.

It is bottom pull. There should be a plastic cable guide on your bottom bracket. Look for the screw holes if the bracket is not there. You can pick up a generic one from your LBS also.

I had one of those 97 Beasts. Great bike.

About fifteen quid, IIRC- check though if ye can get one with the high and low adjuster screws at an angle- if they point straight up,the swingarm makes access a bit of a pain.
