Just cruising some old threads and came across this from November 2005.
http://idriders.com/proflex/smf/index.php?topic=1926.0
Did anything ever come of it?
How many of us out there would still be interested?
I know RETROBIKE have there own jersey so it must be possible if enough of us say yes.

Just had a look on IMPSPORTS site about set up costs and minimum nubers, check this out
http://www.impsport.com/direct/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=1&Itemid=3
This is a UK company whose clothing is very good quality, however at £35 UK per colour used could work out expensive.
White is at no extra cost so if we were to work with a white background with white lettering it could work out cheaper! ::) ::) ::)

it would be a lot cheaper to get them made in the USA, in fact, why don't we get some BMW Proflex jerseys made up?
-
I noticed that that it was said that it would be cheaper to do it in the US.
Was it going to be a K2/Proflex forum jersey or a replica of the Proflex race jersey's?
-
Maybe an "idriders" jersey?
What is an "idrider" anyway?
-
I'm in for that, sounds like a pretty awesome idea.
However, it seems that this forum is based around nostalgia of 90's mountain biking. If we are going to get these jerseys made up, can they please not be fluorescent pink/neon yellow etc? It didn't look cool then, and it won't look cool now...
I don't know what the average user age is on this forum, but I'm only 22, and i don't really go for the 90's biking fashion. That said, i remember starting mountain biking in the mid 90's, and wearing short shorts with whatever raggedy multi-coloured t-shirt i could find, and pink sweatbands... Oh the shame of it... :-[
So, who's going to spearhead this initiative? I know someone said it'd be cheaper to get them made in the US, but would that apply to those of us in the UK?

Count me in if the price doesn't get too high.

I think idriders is just the site that hosts us:
=====================================================================
Who are the idRIDERS?
We are a group of riders from the Vancouver, BC, Canada area. We are certainly not a closed club, by any stretch of the imagination, and appreciate new blood from the area. Join our forums, come out to a weekend ride with us, teach us something or learn something from us, to quote one of our riders, It's all good.
If you are not reasonably local to our area, I'd suggest heading over to the more cosmopolitan forums at MTBR, Pinkbike, or NSMB. Not that I am trying to turn people away, I just think you'll have better luck finding people / trails / parts suitable for your area.

so an "idriders" shirt would not really be the answer..............
...................I guess we're the "K2 + PRO~FLEX RIDERS GROUP"................?
I bet the average age on here is nearer 40 something! <GRIN>

I'm definitely in, however I'm now on assignment in Abu Dhabi, UAE, in the middle of the desert!
I looked at a supplier in the UK called IMPSPORT but it was 35 UK pounds(no pound sign on this keyboard) per colour to set up! Then the price of the jersey.

I found a local silk screener and here are the prices. Jersey costs are extra and they did not have a source, so we will need to find one. I just guessed at 30 jerseys. We can make more. Less and the price per color may go up a bit.
One Color
For 30 jerseys, $1.35 per shirt for one color, plus $10 film and $10 set-up. Equals $2.02 per shirt so far
Two Colors
For 30 jerseys, $1.87 per shirt, $20 for films and $20 for set-ups. Equals $3.21 per shirt so far.
Anyone have a quality jersery source?

Wow, those sound like great printing prices! Let's use, like, 15 colors!! LOL, just kidding...
