Title: K2 Mag Pedals
Post by: Thunderchild on June 13, 2003, 05:57:23 pm
I attempted to service my pedals and snapped one of the plastic parts between the pedal body and the threaded end that bolts into the crank arm.  Anyone know how to service these pedals?  Oh yeah, The pedal still works fine, they just have never been greased.

I will look Sunday and see if my old pair are still in the garage-you can have the part for the price of postage.

Scott, I have the same problem as Thunderchild. If you happen to have 2 of those old pedals, I would love to buy one of those plastic bolts (not sure what they are called). I need the one for the right pedal.

I have a couple sets of the pedals, so Phillip the parts are yours.  I want to know how to remove them without breaking them?  I have a new set for my Oz.  Thanks

Sounds like everyone is all set here-I'm going to see what's needed for a rebuild too-a Fmi "for my information"

Use a wrench to carefully unscrew from the pedal body. I only need the right one. You could just put it in an envelope with one stamp, I think that would work. Thanks a lot, I really appreciate you help.  :)
