Title: Oz/5500/4000 Hammerhead Disk Brake Adaptors
Post by: Colin on April 05, 2008, 04:55:38 am
Hey All!
I'd just like to put a big shout of appreciation out for Mike "Hammer" Billett  who has come up trumps and sorted me out with Rear disk adaptors for my entire stable of bikes..........(well, except for my 17 year old  Marin Pine Mountain and the 23 year old Raleigh Maverick..... Huh!.......... but then again.......... I didn't ask.................. <GRIN>)

Yes, I know it's probably not rocket science to make one myself, but hey, there's Design time, refining, materials, space, manufacturing time and quite frankly can I be arsed? ('cos I do enough of that in my day job!)

But anyway, well done to Mike for coming to the rescue of another load of PRO~FLEX's and K2's that want to be DISCO'd!!

So if you're in need of a Rear Disk adaptor, email him at  [mike "at" racing-green.com]  - {I'm sure you all know to replace the "at" with @} But don't tell him I told you 'cos I bet he'll be rushed off of his little feet!

Thanks again Mike, photo's of the project bikes will follow...............(as soon as I can get of my lazy arse and spend time on bike building!)

Col.

On his post he said to email him at Racing green, so thats what I did. You pay via Paypal and the adaptors arrived in no time at all. Top Man!

I tracked him down a while ago and asked if he had any adaptors or plans to make some more, and I said "look on the forum, loads of people want them!"
That's when he re-registered and posted.

I am now a happy bunny........<GRIN>
