A horst link 856. Judging by the canti brakes, Girvin vector, 24 speed, and fully active swingarm front pivot, this would make it circa 94 or 95?
-
It looks like the weird love child of proflex 855 and an amp b3 :-\ :o, retro chic though!
-
Hmmm Amp b3.
So the amp has a strut with cone mounted or something to the shock, and swung inside of the seatstay. I wonder what it would take to mount a carbon swingarm to my diamondback response? Would make it a Diamondflex? Them put my crosslink on the front and it could be a Diamondflexlink? ???
I think I have been sitting at this desk too long. ;D

Anyone remember the long travel kits that RDI made for the 855/6 bikes.... I tested one of Callums for a while and it was super plush.... bit heavier, but so smooooooth....
Don't have any pictures sadly...

Thats it!
I always thought that they were pig ugly... until I rode one and oh my goodness.... so plush, I loved it.... Is that yours?

Yes. Got it last year for very little on eBay as nobody else bid on it. Still tuning it as I need a stiffer rear spring.
-
I'm after one of them if anybody has one going cheap. Saw one on ebay UK last year but it went for £40-odd...

Callum at RDI has stiffer springs for those...
