Just an update on my project.
Starting to get there now however, still havent got the disc adaptor bonded to the fork, probably made about 6 or so of them deciding on the best profile, shape, length etc. Then I was going to use a type of Alu brazing to fix the channel to the backing plate, made 3 of them, hammered 2 to destruction to see how strong they were! I was all ready to use the epoxy the other day when a little voice said "DONT DO IT". Fabbed another 2 and took them to a welder friend to weld up using TIG welding and proper Alu filler wire. Soon as I get them back I'll fit one if I have time.
Everything else looking good, just need saddle, grips, pedals and a rear adaptor plate for the disc caliper, probably bring some stainless steel plate home from work and knock one up!

you're doing a great job there - can't wait to see the finished product.
