Hah!  

Actually I want a multi use machine for xc, urban and mostly for learning some trials.  I'd like to find a Brass, but I'm leaning heavily toward the Bombshell Sputnik.   I like the P.3 too, but it weighs a ton, ok for urban but bad for trials.

Other than the color it looks good.  Shorter chainstay and steeper angles than the Sputnik.  Not bad at all.

What's the diff between an urban and XC hardtail frame?

the freeride/urban HT should be stronger and designed to carry a longer fork and to withstand jumps, drops etc. Xc HT is going to have geometry for climbing/ racing and is going to be light. There is obviously going to be some crossover frames. My 98 stumpjumper HT is fun to bash around on with the 4" fork I have on it and I am currently rebuilding with a matte black finish, tougher rims, big tires, flat pedals, short stem and riser bars and a whole heap of attitude. Still it won't be as tough as a GT Ruckus or the Monkey HT.

A true trials frame has much steeper angles, up to 73/75 with chainstays as short as 15" but with a "typical" top tube of around 23".  

Rarely used with suspension forks, but certainly can be.  Usually a bit heavier and stronger than a true xc frame, but has more in common with xc frames than freeride frames.  Especially in the headtube where a slacker angle yields less precise steering.

As a rank beginner, I want a multi use bike since I have to strip one of my 957's to build this bike.  No sense in going with a full bike until I know I have some skill for trials!

I found it if you are still looking and the size is right. Its a 16". I didn't know if that was a medium or small.

Its been for sale for a while. Whole bike or it was $250 for just the frame which is probably negotiable by now. Just to give you some bargaining room if it works for you.
