i wont kill(delete it) till you say so again....gold panning???
-
one of my old favorite past times - panning for gold. I have a keene 5' sluce box, high banker kit, pans, screens, hoses, bank dredge nozzle, motor and keene pump etc. - i've got a few bottle rattlers over the years.
i'd send it to you but postage would be outrageous - shoot me an email direct and I'll send you some pics of the stuff

sent you some pictures bud - I'm getting a little old for lugging that stuff around. I used to love hiking back in with a bunch of it and working the banks and streams all day - now I just like to do the hiking part.
I just finished doing Mt. Whitney (for the 13th time) in one day - took me 11 hours bottom to top and bottom again - it's a 22.5 mile trek. Usually spend my spring and summers mountain biking and hiking to get my legs in shape for my fall hunting.
I like to go back up and in to places where other guys wouldn't consider - most of the time, just going in a little further or a little higher or climbing up the side of a ridge to get to the right spot, pays off well.

Mountain biking and hiking are excellent training - still looking for that right spot where I can attach my bow to my bike and head back in - I can envision myself flying down the side of a mountain hands free on my 4500, flinging arrows at a herd of romping elk as I go.
(Somewhat remnisicient of indians taking buffalo on the plains in a John Wayne movie wouldn't you say?)
YEE - HAW !!!!
