Nathan,
You are right on! We are the lepper colony of the bike world.

Well you found the right colony alright.

What ailment do you need treated? We have all the latest snake oils, and electrifiers. :-)

Naw.........leprosy and proflex luurv differ- ye can get tablets for leprosy...............

Aye- while's there's bodgers and cheapskates like us, there'll always be solutions.........I'd be interested to know how other suspension bikes from mid-90s are fairing.....are we just anoraks, or are proflexes still alive 'cause they actually worked!

Not only worked but lent themselves to upgrade like no other. Take a look at many of the new offerings like jamis. They are abandoning the horst link and relying on only the spv valving for anti-bobbing. A real step behind in my mind.

Our Proflex's are just enhanced that much more with spv valving. Better than new, which was top of the line when new.

If only a good shock manufacturer made a cone shaped shock with SPV to fit the proflex...

hi sorry about the delay didn`t think anyone was going to reply. but thanx much appreciated. the main bits i am missin that i assume need to be proflex are the main pivot parts (don`t have anything) and i am assuming the damper and coil will need attention. up the leppers.not literally
