Was kind of scary right from the start. Wasn't funny as soon as I noticed his helmet come off. Sometimes fear stops us doing things we can do, sometimes it is a good thing!
Hope he was ok.

I think we have all been there, just with different limitations. I've got a broken ankle and a helocopter ride to the ER from a, "C'mon man.... Palmer'd do it!"

That is funny, cause I did not see enough monkey motion to cause the frame to brake. The odd thing is that the frame broke and not the rider. With me it is the other way around.:-)

Just showed that to my 5 year old daughter, and her first impression was: "He looks old. Why would he do something like that? He should know better!"
Amen to that...
Seems like for a downhill speed record, you wouldn't need a particularly lightweight frame, but that one was obviously not very strong...
If I recall correctly, that video was of a French guy. It came out a few years back. Leave it to the Frogs...
