Is this a genuine Pro~Flex? or some genetic hermaphrodite experiment that went horribly wrong?
This frame looks like the front end off of a x53/54 maybe?
and the back end off of a x55/x56 ????
The forks look to be early Vectors.
it's badged as a 755, but surely they never looked like this did they?
Puzzled.....

Yes they looked like that. I have a 755 front triangle that I bought for parts. Now I know what the rest of the frame looked like.

there are two 755's.the wc is the x55 type, this is more like a 656....

That bike went for $130. Could make one nice softtail bike for the price.

Wow! 127 Bucks! that's like £70 max over here in the UK.
What a bargain!
Is it an Animal? with Gold ODS shocks and MCU's?
Vector II's or Crosslinks?
Excellent! convert it to springs or air shocks and you'll have an absolute cracker!

It's only £70 to us because of the exchange rate - it still feels like £127 to them, so not quite such a good deal in that light....not bad though nonetheless

I think that's a blinding deal at 127 or 70 in anyone's Money! <grin>
Unless it's a complete wreck (and it sure don't look it from here) then he's got his money worth in the frame alone, or just the componants.
Lets see some more piccies when you've got it rightturnclyde!

Thats my den that she's sitting in, and yes I'd say the bike is in very good shape. I put a pair of tires on, as the ones on it were mismatched/ starting to dry rot. Elastomers are harder than a teenager on prom night. I have new grips and pads for the maggies on the way. I also have a front boinger skipping the pond, thanks to Callum, and a rear to follow when his stock and my finances coincide.I am not 100% sure of the year, but it is an animal with gold ods shocks. I even think it is a way-big frameset because at 6'4" I fit very well on it. I am so psyched about this bike, and cant wait to hit the trails in spring. It is a nice compliment to my 92 Marin IFT singlespeed conversion. That one I had since new. I had a hell of a time convincing my wife of this purchase, and I'm sure glad you guys backed me up!! I am not usually very patient, but this time it sure paid off.

Where you're wrong is that at $127 the wife is ANNOYED at me for buying the bike.
If it were 127 pounds sterling(i can't seem to find the correct currency symbol) It would be like $248 in US funds, which would render me BRUISED, BEATEN AND BLOODIED from the wife.
Certainly my good man, two COMPLETELY different feelings.
