Title: How Tos
Post by: Bloated_Badger on January 27, 2007, 02:38:20 am
Hi,
I am trying to open some of the how to files so I can get my 96 beast working again but with no joy. Any idea why they don't seem to work?
Cheers.

The problem I''ve got is that the girvin forks seem twisted. When I line the stem and the wheel up the forks look twisted to the right. It looks very odd when your riding along with your wheel tracking straight but your forks turned to the right!
Any advice would be most welcome.

Assuming they're Vectors, you need this doc.
"v1_v2_al-alignment.pdf"
IM me with your email and I'll send you a copy.

The "How to's" that are on:
http://idriders.com/proflex/tech/........
seem to work fine, it's the one's that are on:
http://cynosure.homedns.org/proflex/resources.........
That don't seem to work, and these are the "official" tech bulletins, diagrams, etc.
Fortunately they're still available on k2bikes.com but for how much longer, seeing as Iron Horse now own the brand?

The following comments are not meant to offend, but I am a little concerned...........
Who runs this web site and is it actually on an ISP's hosting site, or is it in someone's garage?
I still can't seem to get the gallery working for me.
It'd be a shame to lose all of this due to another "fatal" hacking attack. Anyone got any ideas for getting it hosted on a more "professional" basis?

David aka GrimJack hosts it for us,nobody "owns it".If it wasnt for Dave we would all be on a Yahoo Groups site or similar(which we were for a while) after K2 shut down the Tech forum.
The servers are at Daves house I think....
