Been competing in Trailquests (mentioned before in shall we meet up post)
A guy at the last one on an 855, told me he had just rebuilt his rear shock 'cos it snapped! (I told him about this forum)
Details of events at http://www.midlandtrailquests.co.uk/
Next one near Rugeley (Cannock Chase) on 11th Feb - good fun and an excuse to keep riding flat out for 3 hours. When I first started, those that remembered were surprised to see a Proflex out, last time there were 2 out.
Might see you there.
cheers

I've got the Northampton one (June, Salcey Forest) in my diary 'cos it's only 8 miles up the road from me, so if I'm free that weekend I may well give it a go!
Rebuilt his snapped 855 rear shock eh?
That's 'cos it ain't a shock, it's a bit of solid Ally with MCU's on it! Ha ha ha, only kiddin' well done to him for creativity!

I've thought about doing these, living in Derby it's not too far for me...now which Proflex to bring? ;-)

Trailquesting / MTB Orienteering is great.
We used to do series in the South run by Trailbreak on Sunday mornings. They call it navigator racing.
Been a bit busy this winter - away, being ill, working and moving our business premises - an on going massive job!
Hope to get out to do some more soon.
