Hey folks, i'm brand new here and need some help ASAP.
I have (had) a 2000 or 2001 K2 ZEDx mountain bike. It was stolen out of my garage last night. It probably won't help, but i had previously written down all the numbers off of the bike in case this happened.
My question is, which number is the serial number? I believe I got all the numbers from the bottom side of the crank area. here are the numbers (i'll use X's for the lst few numbers)
A4XX-X
AR25XXXXX
R001XXXXXX
I just need to know which number is the correct serial number for the police report. Thanks in advance

Sorry to hear that - scumbags - just for what it's worth why not give all the numbers, as if you're confused then so might somebody who finds the bike, so my guess would be best they had them all...

It's an online crime reporting system I have to use. So I figured putting everything down would be too much. Then, if by chance the POS that stole my bike sold it to a pawn shop, they would just take one of those lines and say it doesn't match my 20 character serial number

i called K2 and got the answer. just in case anyone else ever needs to know the info, it's the 10 character line. so the R001XXXXXX is the serial number
