Title: Proflex RF1 Pics wanted

Hi guys ,

Looking for some old pictures of the 1991 RF1 team bikes,
I remember they were silver and red with a titanium flexstem
but I really need some closeups for my retro team rebuild.

The donor frame is as close as I am gonna get to a team frame -
the proflex 750 I picked up for £32 a while back

I have 2 pictures but am looking for main frame or full bike piccis now.

I am sticking a near NOS suntour XC comp/pro grouppo
on the build (cos its kicking around) instead of the XT &
girvin cranks (having settled for the fact that I aint gonna ever find some cranks )

I also (Think) I remember reading some of the team bikes
got stolen that year, Is that right ?

Any help appreciated

sure I saw some Girvin cranks on Ebay not so long ago...sorry can't help you with the rest. Busy trying to sort my 753 ;-)

Think you'll find the
Girvin cranks are just rebranded
Sugino item's
you may have more luck looking out for these.

The cranks I was after are the ones in the B&W picture above, they are
a bit like the tioga revolvers, I have seen the sugino ones before
but I fancied something a bit blinger.
