Been on vacation for a week of touring the coast of central California and had a terrific time. Highllite of the trip was Sunset beach north of Monterey. Bike riding on the beach is allowed and was awesome for chasing down seagulls. Did a good 15 miles on sand.
But back to work this week, and I really have some catching up to do. Have been helping a buddy build up his Foes Inferno, and he dragged me out yesterday afternoon for a windy ride. He has about $5000 in the bike and is still tuneing, and it is way pertty. We did a killer climb of about 1400 feet, and then we headed down. He on his Inferno, and me on my Oz. I BLISTSTERED HIM A GOOD ONE!:-)
Yeah baby!

Work stinks. I miss riding already... I'm in the surgical intensive care unit this month, which only makes me realize (even more than I already did) that when I'm done with this whole training gig, I'm going to focus on OUTPATIENT surgery with (relatively) healthy patients. Maybe I'll specialize in sports medicine with a special emphasis on biker's knees...
