Title: Painting carbon
Post by: Proflexman on October 08, 2006, 11:05:28 am
Other than blue or is it red crush's carbon frame which i believe is sprayed with a flake in the lacquer.
And a few other makes we wont mention.
I have been considering either spraying my carbon frame with a colour or spraying it with a metal flake in the lacquer.

Whats your views guys on my intentions?

Hi mate, I would think some coloured detailing could look cool, but I would make sure you can still see plenty of that carbon weave. Ali and me went to a bike show on saturday and all the sex on wheels had plenty of glossy weave on show with maybe the juntions between two tubes painted and fading back to the weave.
I`ve always wanted a carbon proflex so I dont think I`d do to much to it myself, it could be made of anything under too much paint.
Cheers, Tel.

Hi Dominic I dont know if your still in the market for the razorback but I`ve just spotted this.
