Post by: Juanpablo on September 05, 2006, 05:31:34 am
Hi, Juan Pablo is Back!!!! Remember I am the guy that made the cone adapter for 856s. Now I have my 856 frame with rockshox bar rear and a new 857 bike.
I win on ebay a proflex 4500, I eager to come to my home. I know about 856 and 857 very much but I dont know very much about this carbon frames.

What is the differences  and similaris betwen 4500 5500 and ozs frame???
This frame use thermoplastic. Where?????
My frame use a fox vanilla rl, is correct???.
What is the normal eye to eye distances in a 4500 frame???? I have the feeling that this shock is too tall.
See my frame on ebay.

The frames are the same only the 5500 had a smart
shock the 4500 had a Noleen NR4,

Thermoplastic is the frames outer shell carbon fiber
is only used as an inner spine and the s/arm is carbon,

the rear shock i2i is 209mm

great buy

Simon.

You lucky guy!

I think your frame is a medium.

But try the shock anyway, as it may just work perfect for you.

How are you going to build it up?
