Sorry this is off topic, but I figured I'd try:
Wanted - used pair of Spinergy Rev-X Roks Mountain Bike Wheels.
WTF would I want them you ask, as your mind fades back to 1998 when you broke the [insert critical part of the rear wheel] after your third ride? Just 'cause, thats why.
DO NOT tell me to go look on Ebay. I know its you, Mr. Auction sniper, you've snuck in your $.01 higher bid with .0003 seconds to go for the last time. I hate you.
I dont care about blemishes. Dont want cassetts or tires or any of that junk. I'm not that big and I'm not gonna ride them offroad. Stickers, no stickers, dont matter. They just have to function.
ok..who's got a pair they want to unload?

after that diatribe I wish I did have some, but I don't...sorry
-
Yeah, I'm getting that Spinergy vibe. Have you been looking at Shovelons (terrys) 957 in the gallery? Can't help you, sorry.
Have you looked at the 3 spoke Spin wheels? Kinda sexy.

if you are bidding on ebay you need bidding software which bids and rebids within the last few seconds.
-
it's called sniping, there's some free software that you can look for on google (other search engines are available)...!
-
But if you use software to snipe, you miss out on the adrenaline rush that comes from doing it manually! I don't think I've EVER had as much of a rush as I did when I scored my wife's K2 5000 (with Race Face, XTR, carbon seatpost, etc - high end everything) for $450. I think my heartrate was about as high as it's ever been!

you're right, I was the same with my XP-8 with middleburn cranks/rings, hope hubs, XT kit for £100 ($180). The guy just didn't sell it well so not too many saw it (honourable exceptions here on this forum!).

just out of interest,
did you find a pair of REV-X rims and if so did you fit disk brakes to the bike. i have a K2 4500 PROFLEX with SPINERGY REV-X and would like to do this.
