I own a size small 756 at least i think i do judging by the rear shock mount location. my question is, where does the 14inch measurement come from? where should i be measuring to? when I hold the end of the tape in the center of the BB the i can't find any place that 14 inches makes sense? The small frames were the only frames with the shock mount located in the top tube right?
Thanks Matt B

God only Knows!
Although I believe the Small's were listed as 14.5" weren't they?
I've got a Medium (16" marked on frame) XP-X (856) and it's 20" from centre of bottom bracket to top of seat tube!
The only place it measures 16" is from the Bottom bracket to the underside of the top tube!
The same goes for my Medium 4000 and medium Oz's
According to Girvin's '98 geometry chart, the Bottom Bracket to Top of cross bar height is:
Small 379mm = 14.92"
Medium 430mm = 17"
Large 439mm = 17.28"
Way Big 450mm = 17.71"

Hi chaps, the measurement is a vertual size taken as if the top tube was straight.
I only know because someone here told me.
Cheers, Tel.
