I think the Arcadia is fashioned after a 755, with the elastomer mount welded to the seat stay.

You are in England, Callum is in Scotland and has been playing with elastomers. Perhaps he can work with you on a replacement.

Well!
It's the same setup as I got on my 853 from 1993.
Have a look in my gallery.

What's the problem with getting elastomers for it?

My 1992 252 had other "bumbers" and I did a conversion from the black rubber things to the yellow ones.
My 952 still has the black ones.

hey! what's wrong with the gallery?
404 not found!?!

ok, I still have some used but propper yellow elastomers at home. just had a look on them, they are still soft and not hardened.
I could give one or two to you.

just tell me which ones you need. (springrate, length, inner diameter)

I bought 5 or 6 of them for I don't know 60 or 70 euros on ebay. rather expencive, but I needed them urgently.

finally got the bike back today from the shop. me and gears dont get on.

anyways i've measured the single bush as 45mm long. i dont own a caliper but as best as i can tell the i'd is 1/2 inch or 13mm

does that sound about right?

so mine are:

1. 45mm long; 10mm inner diameter; springrate 80
2. 40mm long; 10mm inner diameter; springrate 70
3. 40mm long; 10mm inner diameter; springrate 50
4. 28mm long;  7mm inner diameter; springrate don't know

so, decide yourself!
