Title: Pro-Flex Attack
Post by: petban on July 14, 2006, 04:22:12 pm
I have an Attack in near mint condition except for the rear MCU unit that has sprung a leak of very gooey yellow stuff.  Does any one know of a replacement for this shock or any reccomendations?

not sure of alternatives but you can still get elastomers from Iron Horse
look here (http://idriders.com/cgi-bin/YaBB_K2/YaBB.pl?board=news;action=display;num=1137856872)

Thanks for the info.  I'll give them a try.  Alternatively, I was thinking of making it into a hard tail by substituting the shock with a piece of threaded stock and some bolts to lock it into place.  What do you think?

The elastomer works pretty good when in good shape. For $14 for a last hoorah, I would go with a new elastomer.
