Title: Advice on servicing a Fox pull shock (Razorback)??
Post by: Go-Pirates on July 07, 2006, 09:20:18 am
Is it difficult to service the Fox Float RL pull shock?  I have the retrofit version for an '01 Razorback.  It doesn't seem to perform as well as it used to, and it's never been serviced.  I thought I'd take it apart to clean and lube.  Do I need a seal kit just for that?  Is this a job best left to the greedy LBS?

i am not sure but i think you will find the shock is pressuried to maybe 200 psi with nitrogen.Fox would be a good place to start looking.

Servicing the air canister should be straight forward
but overhauling the damper would be best left to
a Fox service centre,
