Has anybody fitted a rear disc brake set up to their carbon? I have tried to search it in here but its coming up with nothing.

Sure. Tons of us have. I've got a couple pictures of mine in my gallery. Off the top of my head I'd say check out galleries for Old Proflexor, Simon, CarbonAngus, Hammer (who makes the Hammerhead adaptor a lot of us use), MegaOZ, and OZ Sub for starters... Most of those are Hammerheads. Mine is a homemade, bolt-on job. Nothing fancy, but it works and didn't modify my swingarm at all.

I think I have figured it out, it looks like you had the same problem I have, I take it the caliper doesn't move about even with all the washers acting as spacer? I'll try and source some spacers at work in the morning.

Not even a little bit. Clearly, if I had had better spacers (i.e. one-piece spacers), I would have used them, but the washers work just fine. Their only real purpose is side to side support, and they certainly don't compress!

I have done the disc prosthesis procedure(how was that Dr. Matno?) on my 5000 and my Oz. No modifications. They both continue to work great.
