Firstly.... Hello all!
Im sorry if this is a much repeated question in these parts but I could not find anything about the Noleen nr4 shocks in the Archive.
So I spent a LONG time finally putting together my Proflex 857, one sunny morning it was finished! Thirty seconds into riding I bunny hopped a curb and <SQUISH>.... what the?!?! oh , I appear to have some oil all over my brakes, tyre and legs.
I have triied to contact Noleen and K2 for information on rebuilding the shock... to no avail, also I cant even find any replacement shocks to fit the rather bizarre rear shock mounting.
Help will be much appreciated.
Thanks

The NR4 here might fit. I've bought from Bob_W before and know he can be trusted.

the 857 would normally be an NR2.There is a noleen shock service place here (http://www.noleenshockservice.com/) but ibeleive the service isnt too flash.Get another shock and make an adapter, browse the galleries and search the forum it has been discussed many times.I may have to find a thread and sticky it...

Kiwi is right - get yourself a fox vanilla. I had to file the lower mount on my 5500 a little to make it fit, but its a more reliable shock thatn the NR4, IMO. Oh, and if anyone needs a blown NR4 or NR2, let me know. :-)
