Hi all quick question, when shopping for a BB should i stick to the 110mm spindle or use what ever the crank manufacturer recomends ??? ???
Good day all--Matt

You should use what the manufacturer recomends. You could try what you have but there may be clearance problems with the shifter or crank hitting the swingarm.
I would take the gamble and use your 110 BB. If the shifting works, you could shave your cranks for more clearance and increase your Q factor with shims on the pedals. Does it work well now?
Now class, what did I just say? (Did I do good Simon?)

i know what you said....
but maybe we should ask what crank he is using/contemplating and what is recomended

???Im planing on using a truvativ Isoflow crank which requires the powerspline B.B. that i believe only comes in 113mm lenghth, would that be ok ???

As Terry origionally stated go with what the manufacturer recommends,
so 113mm should be fine.
Anyway your only 3mm longer than standard and I'm
sure everything will be fine.
Simon.
