Title: titanium flexstem on ebay.de
Post by: matti on April 18, 2006, 04:29:50 am
Hi folks!

Just saw a titanium flexstem on ebay.de

http://cgi.ebay.de/Titan-Lenker-Vorbau-Kombination-gefedert-von-GIRVIN-NEU_W0QQitemZ7235127273QQcategoryZ85113QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

He says he will send to Germany and Austria but I think it is worth to persuade him to ship to other countries, too.

If you need help for translating or something, tell me!

I'm proflex252 in this forum but as I'm at work I don't have my password here.

Hi Matti,

I have seen this setup once before, but not in titanium. Is this an aftermarket modificatiion to the Girvin product or did Girvin do this?

I am a becoming a Titanium freak, so I am curious.

I remember seeing these in the nashbar magazines in the 90s.  They are in fact made by girvin.

The stem part that goes into headtube is Aluminum, correct me if im wrong.

No aftermarket stuff.

It is girvin!

I got two of those rare parts.
On one is still the price tag from the mid ninetys. Saying it costs 499 DM (250 Euros)
Pretty damn expencive for that time.
