Title: What size is it?
Post by: Tel on April 11, 2006, 08:55:08 am
Hello,
So, I`ve just been to the bat cave with my tape measure (Tongue poking out of corner of mouth)to check the size of my bike. It measures 20 inches from center of BB to top of the seat post, but the original sticker (decal) says 16 inches. Any idea why chaps?
By the way its a XPX.

I seem to remember Kiwi posting a table of frame sizes in the last month see if you can locate it... forget what it related to now.

Thanks Orange, found the sizes. Still can`t figure out what the 16 inches relates to though, unless its how far my bottom lip went down last sunday, when my little boy(6) ploughed into my back wheel.  :'( :'( :'(
Made mental note to self, never let him adjust his own brake levers to look like his mums road bike when I`m not watching. [smiley=disbelief.gif]

i think the 16 inch size is the centre of the virtual top tube, ie: where the top tube would finish if it was straight not curved. ive just measured my xpx and its the same size as yours. hope this helps.
