Title: Shovelon - any Noleen update?
Post by: Frankd3000 on April 04, 2006, 09:28:41 am
So Terry, weather out your way isn't quite what it is "up here". Any update on riding with your modified (backwards) Noleen CrossLink for us? More pics? Anything?

So I WILL give you an update. ::)  I won't be changing back.

The backwards fork legs extends the front, negating that launching feeling when braking and is'nt so skittery on turns. I have bought a Risse Genesis for the fork which knocks a pound of weight of the fork. Had to send it back for revalving because it was really stiff and slow. Kevin thinks that there may be an obstruction in there. [smiley=disbelief.gif]

Anyway I don't have pictures of the bike yet. My project 957 is still in the process of shedding weight. I am trying to make it worthy of posting an article in Weight Weenies dot com. Very close though. I thought it would be cool to have a Proflex represented there. Let's just say that as stands now it would not come in last in the full suspension list. :-X

When the Risse is back on as well as a couple more goodies, you guys will get the first look. [smiley=laughing.gif]
