London, Reuters/AP:
Bob Girvin, deserted island recluse for over 10 years has surfaced and repurchased the "PROFLEX" mountain bicycle company that he sold to Armstrong Industries in 1986. Armstrong, being parent company to k2 Sports. k2 Sports recently sold their k2 bike division to Iron Horse Bicycle, LLC.
When asked "Why the repurchase?" and "What are his immediate plans?" Mr Girvin replied; "I ran out of little drink umbrellas for my Mai Tai's and my solar ice making machine broke."
Apparently Givin had stumbled upon one of the largest Pirate booty's ever discovered, with an estimated worth in today's British Pounds at over 300 million, while on his island.
As far as his immediate plans, Girvin was last seen headed off to Scotland to some quasi~castle.
;D What day is it today ;)
