That is very unusual allright! The titanium flexstem/handlebar setup is wierd, but then so is the model number. I think it is authentic.

especially when used in tandem with the forks! Never seen that!

That's the 2nd 862 I have seen.
And the other one had a combi ov a spring fork and a flex stem, too. That one had a RS MAG 21.
