Hey guys,
I was going through the '97 brocures that I found and the Girvin fork brocure is the most interesting. It has assesories for the girvin forks. Does any one know what a GDT lite shock was all about? And, I've posted this before, but does anyone know anything about the girvi stem that was not only lighter, but replaced the ULM? Pics in my galleries.
Thanks.

GDT lite shock may have been ods and elastomers, could save a couple of pounds by swapping out nolens and springs ...we went through the girvin stem thing....here (http://idriders.com/cgi-bin/YaBB_K2/YaBB.pl?board=news;action=display;num=1137706844;start=60#63)
Its a girvin vector stem.It would save a little weight over the ulm.....

GDT is a "Girvin Damping Technology" Shock that they brought out to replace ODS Shocks and they used for one year but then they bought the Noleen company, so used NR shocks from then on.
Here's an article on them:

Yes but no one replied after I posted the pic, and it was burried under an unrelated topic heading. Its obviously not the same stem as the old Vector 1 stem. Although I have no idea if the old one would work. I just thought I'd ask to see if any one knew anything, and maybe where to get one.
Thanks.
