As far as I've seen on these posts over the last three months, the only UK guys are us.  Unless anyone out there from the UK is reading but not posting.

Are there any fests you intend to ride?  We could meet up for a beer, ride or both.  There is this thing called CYB or CYI in N Wales in April I think, fancy meeting there?

I hope I'm not the Scott you mention-I'm in the Berkshires allright but the ones in Massachusetts USA.... :(  I'd really enjoy the riding there-I read MBR and their TrailQuest section whenever I can. It's easily the best magazine for mtbers on either side of the pond!

yeah - I'm definitely up for meeting up.  iI'm based in London but have a 8 week contract to do some non-bike work in belfast during mon-fri so i'm only avail at weekends!

I usually ride singlespeed - but have other bikes kicking around if needbe.

That sounds great - if you have never tried the Malvern's out, I could show you most of the trails.  I normally go Saturday AM.

Sometimes I go with a group on more serious rides in the Black Mountains or Brecon Beacons.  We have also done the 'Hell of North Cotswolds' the last two years - 90 kms!!!  This is usually around Easter time.

Do you know of any other UK K2 / Proflex riders who post here?

What relationship (if any) are you to Michael Billett?

Hi guys I'm new to this forum...I am a K2/Proflex rider from Dorset UK..I ride with a small group of other proflex riders! Does anybody know where I can get replacement elastomers for an 853 in the UK...boiling them just makes them too soft and I love my 853!

I've seen a pic on the old website of a mod someone made to your type of model with a Noleen conversion.

Also, suggest you trawl through 'How to's', 'Old Forum' and Files.

Also suggest you post a specific question re this - as the guys here are generally a really helpful bunch.

Mike 'Hammer' works forme and is the inventor of the HammerHead range of disk brake adapters.   As for relationship. we ride in cow piss together twice a year near his home town in the west country.
