Title: Proflex 656

Hi fellows - I own a Proflex 656, and it needs some TLC on the fork and shock. From what I gathered here the 656 isn't upgradable. Is there anything to replace the elastomers with a more modern design?  Any lead would be appreciated!

no I am sorry i dont know of any non elasotomer or MCU upgrade for the 656.You can upgrade the fork i guessalthough it has a 1 inch girvin it may have a 1 and 1.8 headset.i am not certain about this the 756 and 856 did.Get some elastomers from ironhorse.....now.Link or email at top of page

I was quoted I think £16.95 per MCU.
I don't know anything about 656's but they might be able to help. Dave is the name of somebody there who will give you advice.

Thanks folks. I pretty much gave up on this. Strange thing is that there's an active item on Ebay right now, it's the exact same bike, but it has an Eibach spring in the back. I email the seller and she said she found it from a dealer a year ago.  For those of you who are interested, here's the link to the bike:

looks like a spring but no shock......cvi would indded have the correct mcu 's
