hi,

i thought i should introduce myself.
i am a retro mtb lover based in the uk and among my collection of bikes is a 1996 proflex 856.
the proflex is my latest project and i stumbled on this site whilst doing some net research.
my 856 is presently being repainted but, once returned i will post some pic's of the frame.
i am also looking for a k2 razorback frame should anyone know of one for sale in th uk.

slim, what are you doing on here?
i did not realise you had a proflex.
good to find someone from the other forum though.

as for the other question, i'm based in cannock, staffordshire.

 yeh , got the 555
decided on a new powdercoat too ,
so thats on the back burner for a while , although i get it done for free , not got round to it yet ...
good guys on here .
picked their brains and their spare parts bins !!!

decided to go the whole hog with the 856 and have it repainted by bob jackson cycles.
heard they do the best resprays around and thought i'd give them a go.
not that much more expensive either.
i'll keep you posted on the results.
