As an administrator i can modify other peoples posts..I thinks you can modify your own posts
To post a pic its like this.On this board they have their own version of html, represented by those little buttons(YABBC tags) above. To post an image click on the (http://idriders.com/newforum/YaBBImages/img.gif)  and you will get {img}{/img} but the { bracket will be a [ bracket. You then paste the url of the pic  in between the two tags

so before you actually post it looks like this

{img}http://www.superbike.it/mostra_immagine.asp?id=1627{/img}(again i have used the { bracket instead of the [ otherwise the link will work and be invisible.......and what you get is

yahoo!!!!

Nothing to really add to this post except to say how good are ducati going in the motogp this year.

Makes me proud to ride one.

The supers have turned into abit of a farce though.

Looks like you have to mount the shock to the seat tube before you attach the swingarm.  Does the Float have a negative air spring as well??

ok gonna reply to a couple at a time here.

first to kiwi...yes i can modify my own posts and does i have to be a url ???theres not a way to post a pic off my computer?

second to sammydog...i dont think the ducs have had an all around better year yet. even though i dont own one i still love em. i was told by a few friends that they werent very street friendly.

last to roentgenranger...you do have to put the shock to the seat tube first and no it doesnt have a neg air. the other valve you see is a bleeder. i still like the way the shock performs. althoigh i would like to have that lock lever on the handle bar still.

Title: not mtb related
Post by: kiwi on April 29, 2003, 10:12:57 pm
yep epac to post a pic they have to live on the web somewhere...
Ducati really have ruled sbk fot the last eon except foe a couple of blips from Honda...certainly no disrespect intended for colin edwards.
Ducati have nade a very very good start in moto gp,there bike can almost run with the honda v5 and appear superior to the yamahas......The restricted gsxr 1000 of lavilla in the superbikes looks good tho...
I had a ducati 900 in the early eighties......very very unfreindly on the street but capable of fast runs over sweepy smooth roads and it sounded awesome!!!

What kind do you have? and how do you like it. Is it reliable?(heard some rumors that they breakdown more often then Japanese bikes) I was thinking about getting Monster 750 or now it's 800 lit ooks really good or maybe  i'll try to get Kawasaki Z1000 here is the pictures of it,

Here is my bike

Unfortunately it is current;y being repaired after a fall in february. It is being repaired in stages and should be finished next week.

I don't find riding it around town a problem, that said, for around town use I wouldn't use a 748/749/996/999.

I have had no problems in reliability in the five years I have ownerd it. The services aren't even as much as expected (the four valve engines are more expensive to maintain).

I used to own a 1200 suzuki, but nothing beats the feel of a twin.
