Hmmm, VPP for forks? Looks like an Amp fork on drugs even. But 900 grams is my kind of thinkin'.

Nice find,
Terry

Nice LEGS! [smiley=laughing.gif]

Very interesting upgrade to the AMP design. Make it out of carbon, put a (normal) rear shock on it and call it "new and improved". Sounds familiar for some reason.

900 grams without the shock, right? [smiley=laughing.gif] (sorry, my German is rusty)

And i'll say it again, nice legs! [smiley=nod.gif]

No! With the shock!
Ok. Not exactly 900 grams but the serial version is at 960 grams as I read it was meassured in a bike mag some weeks ago.
At least less than 1kg!!!!!
But nothing for going FR!

In the link above, it says the demo model at the bike show was 1006g (you can see the scale in the pic). I'd be really embarrased if I advertised something as being lighter than it really is, but that's just me. (Who cares if everybody else does it too, it's still dishonest...)

Other points made in the mini-review there: some people like it for its anti-dive effect, others complain because it's taller than standard forks, thus changing the geometry and handling.

One thing is for sure though. At 1500 Euros (that's $1800 usd!!!), it's no bargain! Even more expensive than the Look Fournales (although I believe those have come down since their original price).

No it really is NO bargain!!

But a thing which mykes me feel gettin horny (not due to the legs!)

And yep! The fournales has come down pretty much.
I bought a new one with full warranty on ebay uk for 325 Euros instead of 1000 Euros.
But: The fournales is much heavier. It said it should be some 1300 grams. In reallity it had 1450 grams. HA! HA!
I had to spend a lot of money to get it under 1400 grams buy using titanium screws. Still too heavy I think, but I can't get it down more.

my manitou forks on the oz weigh 1384gramms, its just a shame they only have 70mm travel as opposed to the 80mm they are advertised with.
