This is not really new news. I just finally got around to taking a couple of shots. The Xlink is a fairly good match for this frame. The finish is certainly worlds better than the k2 carbon frame, and yet, the k2 is still as fun or more fun, depending on the trail. Thanks for looking.

The CSX is a great frame and the Crosslink is probably the ideal fork for it too. Shrp ride you have there... wish I'd kept mine.

Heheheh. It is, thanks.
It's hard to ride it rough, for fear of messing up the nice looks. I just finished putting it all together over the winter. Got the CSX closeout--kestrel stopped making it in 2002. It will not take a 100mm travel fork. 80mm is pushing the frame geometry. Also, the weight is not as good as it could be--4 lbs for a tall frame. (I have a used Ti commuter frame that is a tad taller and weighs 3.5lbs).
If I actually had to spend money on a car to get to work, I wouldn't have bike porn. Thank goodness I have been able to cycle to work year round (living 2.5 miles away helps mucho).
